As a Program Manager within the Logistics and Fabrication Solutions (LFS) Operating Unit (OU) reporting directly to the OU Director; serving as Chief of Staff, you will ensure all aspects of OU operations are effective and efficient. You will organize and facilitate day-to-day operational aspects of the OU. The Chief of Staff also organizes and oversees execution of staff/leadership meetings, periodic senior leader business reviews (such as monthly reviews, PMRs, etc), Town Halls, leadership forums, site visits, project reviews, customer visits and international trips.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Integrate day-to-day operational objectives to meet the OU’s financial and non-financial goals and assigned Sector Operating Objectives (SOOs)
Identify focus areas for process improvement/streamlining and development and execution of operational initiatives
Support the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan (AOP/LRSP) to include the planning of resources to achieve the plans
Prepare OU Director for all senior level internal meetings and customer engagements with relevant information/materials such as talking points and relevant background information
Set business rhythms and coordinate the development, review and periodic reporting of applicable operating objectives, and non-financial metrics
Ensure deliverables required by sector & division level business rhythms are coordinated among the staff and delivered timely
Serve as a trusted advisor to OU team
Drive execution of strategic initiatives and tasks initiated by the OU Director by working with cross-functional teams and business leaders across the organization
Act as a focal point for communication and collaboration among functional leaders and operations
Anticipate and proactively manage the materials, data and presentation needs for upcoming meetings and events
Organize and implement employee engagement activities such as Town Halls, Leader Site Visits, and Leadership Forums
Lead internal special projects as requested by the OU Director, to include activities such as: establishing and leading a cross-functional team, developing and monitoring objectives, briefing senior leaders, and facilitating broader communication across the organization
Oversee and manage non-contractual technical activities for the OU and other projects as requested

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience and a High School diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, and presentation skills.
Highly advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills
Proven experience operating in a similar position, such as Chief of Staff, Executive Office, Program & Operations manager
Experience with data analytics tools & methodologies focused on attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated briefing senior level management
Demonstrated ability working with financial metrics and frameworks
Ability to travel a minimum of 25% domestically
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of company and sector operations, policies, procedures and command media.
MS or MBA degree in a technical, business or related field
PMP or similar certification
Strong understanding of Northrop Grumman culture and demonstrated success effectively working within company’s organization, processes, and procedures
Current Secret or higher Clearance
Experience with the Defense Community customers
Experience with international programs, operations and businesses
