Northrop Grumman Defense System is seeking a Project Management (level 2) / Principal Project Management (level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals who provide Logistics Planning Support, Aircraft Systems Integration, and Maintenance Support for assigned systems through analysis of Engineering Data Packages and Customer Directives.
You will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between program management and planning, project team, and line management. Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, line managers, and clients.
Additionally, you will lead the capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. Develop capture strategy including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identify potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participate in bid and proposal activities. Maintain on-going interaction with marketing.

Basic Qualifications:
Project Management (Level 2) - High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 6 years of relevant job experience; or Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of Project Management experience, or Master’s degree and 0 years of relevant experience.
Principal Project Management (Level 3) - High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 9 years of relevant job experience; or Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of Project Management experience, or Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or PhD and 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and AGILE.
Experience in proposal operations and development, including Basis of Estimates and historical data analysis.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must be familiar with risk development and mitigation plans.
Must have an active Secret DoD clearance with ability to maintain that clearance.
Have the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Project.
Experience in the development and sustainment of Technical Publications/Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Training products.
Active Top-Secret clearance.
Previous Project Management and Logistics experience.
