SSSD has an opening for a Principle Program Financial Analyst on a growing financial team within the Advanced Mission Programs (AMP) Operating Unit. With over 100 business management professionals supporting the OU, the management team is committed to matching you with a role that fits your unique skills and talents.

The Principle Program Financial Analyst will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting and will be responsible for supporting the Advanced Mission Programs Operating Unit.

This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Interface with internal/external customers on cost reporting and funding requirements, ensure alignment with program funding needs with the customer's available funding, develop unique cost reporting profile as necessary based on program requirements.
  • Interacts with Contract Administrators, Business Managers, Program Control / Financial Analysts, and Billing representatives on a daily basis via e-mail, telephone, or in person
  • Creates contract-compliant charging structures in SAP accounting system to be used for collecting costs and facilitating the submission of invoices
  • Reviews and interprets the content of the contract and ensures the contract data is properly entered into SAP and is consistent with the contract language
  • Assists business management to align their reporting needs with the work breakdown structure being created
  • Ensures the work breakdown structure is compatible with contractual billing requirements and coordinates with the billing team
  • Operates in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail with little supervision
  • Leverages foundational knowledge of contracts, network structures, and SAP to ensure data is entered into the accounting system of record and is in accordance with sector and enterprise procedures
  • Contributes to and/or influences the submission of documentation, and the means of contract execution to ensure all information entered in the SAP accounting system is in accordance with the contract

Basic Qualifications: 

  • An active TS Clearance and/or SCI Access
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience in Business, Finance, or Accounting OR; Master’s Degree with 3 year of experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on customer reporting with CFSRs, IPMR, and related CDRLs/SDRLs
  • Working experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Proficiency of the following systems or software: Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM), COBRA, or similar project management software, wInsight, SAP Management Project Systems Module and Business Warehouse (BW)

Salary Range: $83,600 USD - $125,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
