Northrop Grumman SSSD has 3 openings for Manager Systems Engineering 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

The Deputy SEIT IPT and Program SEIT Lead listed will serve as a deputy SEIT lead with the primary responsibility to serve as the SEIT lead for the Phoenix Program.  As a systems integrator they will also be responsible for requirement decomposition and integration of heterogeneous Space Segments.  Responsibilities include EVMS reporting and management of a cross-division, geographically dispersed team. This role reports to the MCP SEIT Portfolio Manager (D1) and interfaces directly with Phoenix customers (program office, SE reps, etc.).  Near term focus includes execution of SRR, PDR and CDR in 2022.   In addition, the SEIT lead will be responsible for proposal efforts related to near-term study contracts and ECPs.  

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering (5+ with a MS STEM degree, 3+ with a PhD STEM degree)

- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with background investigation in-scope and the ability to obtain and maintain an SCI clearance

- Proven team leadership experience in program integration, operations, program execution, proposals, or capture efforts -- to meet quality, performance, cost, and schedule requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

- Active SCI clearance.

- Proven record of developing/implementing action plans to improve organization performance

- Ability to quickly develop working knowledge across diverse technical areas

- Experience with new business development, including proposal development and capture management

- Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task

- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive teams with engaged team members and lead through influence

- Demonstrated ability to partner across organizational boundaries (i.e., cross-Sector, cross-site, cross-discipline, cross-function, cross-program) as part of a top performing team

- Demonstrated ability to work across organizational layers, from individual contributor through Executive Leadership

Salary Range: $171,000 USD - $256,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
