Northrop Grumman is looking for a Mission Engineer with background in EW, ELINT and associated RF skillsets. Join the NG team and be part of mission critical programs. As a mission engineer, you get to exercise that creative mind of yours to develop mission CONOPs, perform space system architecture analysis, build simulation tools to evaluate mission performance to support space programs in various phases from Campaign to PDR.  Our mission engineering team is a diverse group of talented engineers who love solving challenging problems and have passion for mentoring and growing the next generation of engineers. This position can be filled at either the Sr. Principal Space Systems Engineer or Staff Space Systems Engineer level

Sr. Principal Space System Engineer


Basic Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of relevant engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of relevant engineering experience OR PhD in STEM discipline and 4 years of relevant engineering experience
·       Years of military/relevant experience in any of the following areas may be substituted in lieu of degree:
o   8 years in tactical data link management
o   8 years of cryptology experience
o   8 years of military intel experience
o   10 years of Electronic/Information warfare
·       Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:
·       Military or Intel experience working with EW and/or ELINT systems
·       Association of Old Crows experience or membership
·       Experience building analyst and intelligence products or supporting development of products
·       Tactics development
·       Military Intelligence
·       Signal analysis
·       EW and IO tactical/operational battle management
·       Military acquisitions experience

Staff Space Systems Engineer


Basic Capabilities:

·       Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 14 years of relevant engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of relevant engineering experience OR PhD in STEM discipline and 9 years of relevant engineering experience.

·       Years of military/relevant experience in any of the following areas may be substituted in lieu of degree:
o   13 years in tactical data link management
o   13 years of cryptology experience
o   13 years of military intel experience
o   15 years of Electronic/Information warfare
·       Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Military or Intel experience working with EW and/or ELINT systems
·       Association of Old Crows experience or membership
·       Experience building analyst and intelligence products or supporting development of products
·       Tactics development

Salary Range: $125,800 USD - $188,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $156,000 USD - $234,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
