Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) has an opening for a Principal/Sr. Principal Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Process Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA. The responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
 

As a Principal/Sr. Principal Product Lifecycle Management Process Lead you will:

  • Partner with existing PLM process leads and external consultants to define strategic SSSD PLM Digital Transformation Processes and Requirements
  • Lead Projects to implement SSSD PLM Digital Transformation solutions
  • Collaborate and present solutions to Digital Transformation teams across multiple Space Divisions
  • Develop high-level ROMs, project deliverables, and project schedules
  • Provide production support and training for existing and new implementations
     

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Process Lead level or Sr. Principal Process Lead level based on the qualifications listed below.
 

Basic Qualifications for Principal PLM Process Lead:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 5+ years of relevant PLM experience OR Master’s Degree in STEM with 3+ years of relevant PLM experience
  • Experience with ENOVIA, TeamCenter Unified, or similar PLM
  • Demonstrated Experience with Agile methodology and implementation
  • Experience with leading enterprise application initiatives
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
     

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal PLM Process Lead:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline 9+ years of relevant PLM experience or Master’s Degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant PLM experience
  • Experience with ENOVIA, TeamCenter Unified, or similar PLM
  • Demonstrated Experience with Agile methodology and implementation
  • Experience with leading enterprise application initiatives
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct Digital Transformation Experience
  • Prior work experience in aerospace or defense industry
  • Experience with Siemens Enterprise Digital Solution portfolio
  • Experience with CAD systems  
  • Experience with Dassault Systems 3D Experience Platform
  • Knowledge of DoD Digital thread and Digital twin definitions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of system and model-based system engineering
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Salary Range: $101,400 USD - $152,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $125,800 USD - $188,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
