Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Facilities Rep to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Responsibilities include

  • Developing scopes of work for various commodities to initiate blanket purchase orders and service contracts

  • Working closely with Purchasing to maintain contract funding, period of performance, and changes in scope

  • Overseeing work performed by suppliers to verify adherence to the purchase order/scope of work, quality of work, and safety

  • Coordinating and scheduling preventative maintenance work with suppliers and affected users

  • Running Maintenance projects

  • Scheduling and leading meeting with suppliers, performing job walks with suppliers, request quotes, and review project schedules

  • Coordinating emergency requests, escorting as needed

  • Gather and present data regarding contracts, equipment and facilities.

This role will act as the point of contact from Facilities to the supplier.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with three (3) years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or maintenance trade experience (custodial, plumbing, structural, electrical/electronic); OR a Masters with one (1) years of relevant experience;

  • Experience working with suppliers or vendors

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active SCI and/or DoD TS Clearance

  • Familiar with Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System

  • Familiar with iBuy purchasing system

  • Ability to effectively communicate (written/verbal) with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders

  • Valid C Class California State Driver’s License (Driving record: NO DUI’s, cell phone tickets or reckless driving in past 3 years)

Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
