Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Manager of Procurement 2 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support Procurement Team in areas of policies and procedures, supplier management, training, and development

  • Manage Procurement team of ~10 employees

  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with Supply base, domestic and international, for on-time delivery and quality

  • Monitor Supplier on-time delivery and performance and take actions as needed for recovery plans/corrective action

  • Collaborate effectively with other functions and Program and functional leadership 

  • Establish and review metrics, trends, and implement any process improvements for Supplier Management

  • Plan, organize, and assign resources, ensuring they are well matched (knowledge/skills/experience) to their assigned duties

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 years' of experience in global supply chain; 3 years' of experience with a Master's degree; 9 years' of experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience in leading others

  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARs and terms and conditions

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management

  • International Buying Certification

  • Leadership Development Certification

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DFARS, and terms and conditions.

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project, Powerpoint and Excel)

  • Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude.


Salary Range: $118,600 USD - $178,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
