SSSD has an opening for a Principal Programmer Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.

The selected applicant will be working in a dynamic, people-focused environment where you will interact with users and customers on Department of Defense (DoD) systems.

You will participate in the entire software development lifecycle of software development of web and windows-based applications using multiple high-level programming languages and technologies.

This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging applications software and systems
  • Adhering to software standards and requirements
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities
  • Experience developing object-oriented software with: Microsoft .Net, VB.NET, Java, or C#
  • Develop web applications with Microsoft .Net, CSS, HTML, XML
  • Develop with Visual Studio
  • SQL Server and relational database technologies including SSRS Reporting
  • Work with and communicate with end users
  • PowerBI development and debugging
  • Assist with analyzing complex problems and developing solutions

THIS ROLE MAY BE FILLED AT EITHER A LEVEL 2, PROGRAM ANAYST OR LEVEL 3, PRICIPAL PROGRAM ANALYST AS OUTLINED ON THE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS. YOU MUST BEEN THE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED.

Programmer Analyst - Level 2

Basic Qualifications: 

  • A BA or BS degree with a minimum of 2 years of software development experience
  • Must possess an active TS and/or SCI Security Clearance

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Security+ CE
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Experience with Secure Web Applications
  • Experience with Web Services
  • Experience with Deltek MPM and/or COBRA
  • Advanced experience with PowerBI development and debugging

Principal Programmer Analyst - Level 3

Basic Qualifications: 

  • A BA or BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of software development experience
  • Must possess an active TS and/or SCI Security Clearance

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Security+ CE
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Experience with Secure Web Applications
  • Experience with Web Services
  • Experience with Deltek MPM and/or COBRA
  • Advanced experience with PowerBI development and debugging

Salary Range: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USD
Salary Range 2: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
