Strategic Space Systems Division has an opening for a Engineering Planning Analyst (Tech Ops)  to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.

This position will be supporting the Integration, Test & Launch (IT&L) directorate and associated departments leading technical operations related tasks and projects in support of the functional homeroom.

Essential Functions for Engineering Planning Analyst (Tech Ops) (but not limited to):

  • Develop and maintain newsletters, SharePoint, and other forms of communications within the organization
  • Coordinate and assemble technical presentations for Senior Leadership
  • Assist the departments in any tracking, and monitoring of staffing, indirect expenditures, and any other associated functional tasks that need to be consolidated
  • Support any Audits related to the departments
  • Support Training and Process Excellence activities
  • Provide support for any Technology (Computer/IT) and Infrastructure related projects
  • Potentially support in tracking of Root Cause and Correct Actions
  • Develop resources related to tours and provide tours of our areas as required
  • Assist with staffing efforts and ensure new hires have a streamlined onboarding experience

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution plus 6 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree from an accredited institution plus 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience must be within the Aerospace or Defense Industry, or within Project Management or Communications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance OR SCI Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing training
  • Experience in developing executive level presentations
  • General understating of Manufacturing Operations
  • Experience with creating and executing to a project plan
  • Experience in staffing, onboarding, and new hire experience
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance OR SCI Access

Salary Range: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
