Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:


  - Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited university in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 7+ years of experience in engineering OR - Master's degree from an ABET accredited university in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 5+ years of experience in engineering OR - PhD from an ABET accredited university in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 3+ years of experience in engineering   Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances: - SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR - Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years   - Must have prior management experience leading a team and supporting multiple programs.   - Broad understanding of system engineering processes and products with a proven ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to these discipline areas   Preferred Qualifications - Advanced Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) - Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to interface with senior management, peers, and employees - Aptitude to develop and execute to a strategy - Self-directed technical leader with strong verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering for an Aerospace Program - Project experience interfacing and supporting a number of Specialty Engineering disciplines - Experience in functional management - Active TS clearance with SSBI
