Our employees are not only part of history, they’re making history.      The Adjuncts Program Operations Manager will be accountable for all aspects of the AMP Adjuncts activities including the Sterling, Seascape, L7 CLINs, various special projects and new project/business development. The accountability will including the cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance and will be the primary interface to the Adjuncts Director, CLIN managers, capture leads and various external USG customers.      Job responsibilities include: developing and maintaining current status accountable to the Adjuncts Director, various CLIN managers and capture leads; scope includes identifying, managing, and driving to closure programmatic and technical status ensuring mutual agreement of all stakeholders; coordinating development efforts; coordinating successful flight hardware assembly, test, and integration with the spacecraft; supporting payload operations; and supporting ground system integration with AMP Operations and Ground Element.Adjuncts has a portfolio of over $500M and is actively pursuing additional scope that has the potential for $150-$200M with future opportunities for follow-on work.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex teams and challenging prgramiatic and technical scope, usually with an aggressive schedule. The individual will interface with leadership, project leads, suppliers, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders.  The individual must be a strong communicator and able to track multiple, ongoing efforts.   In addition, will be accountable to the AMP Adjunct Director for support in developing and realizing new business opportunities as well as supporting additional special projects as the arrise.        To learn more about our hiring process for manager positions, please view our “Selecting the Best Qualified Managers" video:

 Basic Qualifications: 
 
  • BS degree in STEM-related field from an accredited institution
  • 7 years of program and/or functional experience
  • 5+ years of Hardware Electronic/Manufacturing experience
  • Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances: Dept of Defense Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 yearsOR SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 yearsOR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience leading teams
  • Experience with government customers and suppliers
  • Strong communicator
  • Able to track multiple, ongoing efforts
  • Experience with managing program hardware and procurement
  • Ability to effectively manage and communicate Earned Value Management, Risk Management and Program Execution of all program activities.
