Northrop Grumman SSSD has an opening for a Sr. Principal Software Engineer – Process Lead to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California. Responsibilities:
  • Understand basic requirements of new projects and develop a ROM
  • Develop and document requirements and solution design for new projects
  • Manage project schedules and assigned resources for projects
  • Work with management and other leads to develop and execute on department roadmap.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 14+ years software development experience, or Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of software development experience, or PhD Degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of software development experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Process Lead initiatives
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile methodology and implementation
  • Experience creating and delivering training material
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management systems
