This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.   Role and Responsibilities: The EMC/EMI Engineer 2 will support lead program EMC/EMI engineer in performing architecture trades, design analysis, and performance modeling through computer simulation.  EMC engineering activities include system architecture design, trade studies, specification development, requirement definition and allocation, performance analysis and simulation; system modeling and simulation tool development, and support to hardware design, manufacturing, integration and test.   Available positions require that the candidate have a strong understanding of one or more of the skills described. Project roles span all phases from new business acquisition, and IRAD/ technology development to established programs.   Northrop Grumman offers a competitive and robust benefits program. Basic Qualifications:


  - Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 2+ years of experience in engineering in an aerospace environment OR - Master's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline   - Candidate must have, and be able to maintain an active SCI access U.S. Government security clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years   Preferred Qualifications:   - Master's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline - Practical working experience with EMC Engineering, Analysis, and MIL-STD-461 testing - Previous EMC/EMI design experience - Knowledge of EMC/EMI Simulation software
