Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to support the Rolling Meadows, IL campus.

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will plan, direct and coordinate Northrop Grumman employees and outside contractors who maintain, repair and construct equipment, building interior, exterior and utilities systems using a wide variety of maintenance and construction trades. Responsibilities also include event set up and snow removal.

The Facilities Manager must be service oriented with strong leadership and team building capabilities. Must have strong interpersonal skills and experience working with internal customers including management and professionals, and external vendors and suppliers. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Must be able to think and make decisions independently.

The individual will be responsible for the supervision of HVAC and general maintenance employees, including performance reviews and career coaching. The Facilities Manager will set priorities, manage department goals, budgets, and overtime following all company procedures.

The candidate must also have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot facility and equipment issues. Must have experience managing a facility including equipment and machinery maintenance, building projects and vendors. Must be safety oriented and OSHA knowledgeable. Have experience managing preventative maintenance programs. Support Facilities infrastructure capital projects by advising on the building maintenance perspective.

Work is performed on site daily not a remote job. Must be available to support emergency and or critical functions during non-standard working hours or holidays.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and at least 9+ years of facilities maintenance leadership experience or MS Degree and 7 years facilities maintenance leadership experience or PhD and 4 years of facilities maintenance leadership experience, additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Basic computer skills required including software applications and mobile devices.

Must have proficient writing and communication skills.

Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Facilities maintenance management experience in a large office and manufacturing facility.

Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management, Building Automation Systems and CAD.

Salary Range: 102900 - 154300

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
