Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an energetic individual to join the Rolling Meadows Calibration Support Team to provide a full range of administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The Administrative Functional Support member performs a variety of activities in support of the Rolling Meadows Calibration Lab.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct customer support, developing and maintaining positive customer relations.
  • Receives equipment from customers and outside vendors.
  • Coordinates with vendors to schedule equipment calibrations.
  • Document vendor calibrations, recording activities in calibration tracking database. 
  • Compile, review and analyze data from internal database to document performance metrics.
  • Selected candidate must be excellent at multi-tasking, be detail oriented, reliable, flexible, and exercise a high level of professionalism when working directly with customers and vendors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 2 years of Administrative support experience to include demonstrated capability in computer skills, to include, advanced expertise in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft excel, prepare reports, generate spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and other forms of correspondence. 
  • Should have strong oral/written communication skills along with ability to interact effectively with coworkers, customers and outside vendors. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of asset management database work experience.
  • Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 35lbs, unassisted.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the calibration field or other quality function.
  • Successful candidate will have a strong commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Active Secret clearance preferred.
  • Experienced user of SAP.

Salary Range: $40,400 USD - $67,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
