Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering team has an opportunity for a highly qualified candidate to oversee several of our key support functions including Industrial Engineering, Tool Design, Packaging Engineering and our Materials Evaluation Lab within our Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Manufacturing location. The desired candidate will administer and oversee program metrics and production review board databases; oversee the work measurement and labor reporting system; production routing initiation and maintenance; tool designs, packaging engineering and all tests and measurements within our Materials Evaluation Lab.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or MS degree in Industrial Engineering or related degree with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. 

- Demonstrated success leading and collaborating with cross functional teams.

- Relevant experience in manufacturing or design.

- Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word and Power Point

- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in electronics manufacturing with specific focus in engineering.

- Ability to read and understand product drawings.

- Familiarity with Capital Project Management

- Software tools including SAP and databases.

- Expertise in a Manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience running a work cell, engineering group, or technical projects.

- Proficient with Earned Value management and Cost Account Management

- Familiarity with Ishikawa and Six Sigma quality control processes

- Success in leading and developing people

- Current Security Clearance - Secret


Salary Range: $94,300 USD - $141,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
