Role description & Responsibilities:

The candidate will be an integral part of the Facilities Engineering team and have a wide variety of roles and responsibilities.  Those responsibilities can include meeting with site leadership to develop long-term space planning efforts, designing new spaces to inspire innovation, retention, and improve employee engagement.  Maintain the sites computer-aided Facilities Management software system and AutoCAD seating chart, manage housekeeping, landscaping, and moving contractors, along with occasional project management functions.

Job Duties:    

• Office site space planning
• Project planning support 
• Managing contractor labor
• Permitting, safety requirements and oversight for contract safety and labor

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's and 6 years of work experience in the construction industry or MS Degree and 3 years work experience; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Strong MS skills including MS Project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills must be able to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented and able to understand facility and team goals.
• Ability to work unsupervised

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in Construction and Project planning.
• Experience with Archibus/Integrated workplace management software.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with multiple construction disciplines.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and interpret detail.
• Experience in permitting processes, demolition, hazard abatement.

Salary Range: $80,100 USD - $120,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
