Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Services Sector wants you to join our Team as an SCA Shipping/Receiving Clerk for shipment, packaging, receipt, inventory, and movement of Property related to the Northrop Grumman Corporation in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform packaging and un-packaging related responsibilities, including loading and unloading trucks using pallet jacks or a lift truck.

- Package material for outbound shipments: prepare shipping documentation and bills of lading per

contract requirements.

- Validate all property to be packaged for shipment/stock against documentation.

- Fabricate shipping containers.

- Validate all incoming property against receipt documentation; Inspect for damage, deliver to departments within the site.

- Communicate with a diverse group of management and peers from multiple disciplines and organizational levels.

- Perform physical material inventory of packing materials and establish stock levels and requirements.

- Safely move and lift heavy items.

Basic Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory or warehousing.

2. Basic computer knowledge.

3. Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. from the floor to waist level.

4. Ability to read, correctly comprehend, and follow written English instructions.

5. Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with general carpentry power and hand tools used to fabricate wooden shipping crates.

2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, and Excel.

3. A current Secret Clearance.


Salary Range: $18 USD - $18 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
