The Program Hardware Tracking & Item Management (PHT&IM) Team located in Rolling Meadows, IL has a challenging opportunity for a driven, multitalented, team-oriented individual to support Program Hardware Tracking efforts across multiple programs. This position is responsible for managing and reporting the location of program assets and enforcing asset accountability processes across the asset user community. This high visibility role is critical to the successful management of internal assets.  

 

Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following tasks:

- Lead PHT asset management efforts by physically auditing assets across engineering labs, providing findings, and supporting team with addressing findings

- Manage and report on assets located in secured storage

- Perform location scans for assets and upload data to NG tool

- Support asset status updates across various tools

- Support customer audit preparation and execution activities

- Support physical asset movement processes and coordinate the re-labeling of assets as needed

- Support Program Hardware Tracking and Item Management work on programs as needed

- Identifying and supporting process improvements

 

Team is looking for a detail-oriented candidate who is willing to learn and who has excellent skills related to verbal and written communication, time management, and organization. Frequent cross-functional communication is required to successfully execute this role's daily functions. This role will allow for project management growth, building a network through working cross-functionally, and an increase in knowledge of engineering lab processes.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiar with UID and RFID location scanning processes

- Experience with inventory handling and movement

- Experience with requirements related to government property


Salary Range: $53,800 USD - $80,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
