Northrop Grumman is looking for a Facilities Engineer to: coordinate small construction projects, move management, tracking and reporting for site of 1M square feet and 2700 employees.  Coordination will include software tracking and reporting of space use, future of work planning and moves. Facilities project planning, design and supervision experience.   Coordinating work with other facilities engineers to accomplish site and organization goals. Supervise site moving contractor. Software experience to help organization with digital transformation efforts.  Experience using software to track and report on space use and plans.  Advise on mining digital date for planning and tracking information.  Software experience to assist with coordination of software connectivity to sector headquarters.  Update AutoCAD drawings based on construction project as built drawings including lock out, tag out information and electrical panel card updates.   Maintain organization drawing system in AutoCAD.  Experience with Microsoft Office and Project, AutoCAD and ArchiBUS.  Manage Facilities organization’s software licenses. Facilities planning experience to assist with future of work and site space needs and changes to meet the needs of site with multiple program requirements.  Site space types include office, manufacturing, laboratory and storage space.  Make recommendations for reallocation of space based on business needs. This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3. Basic Qualifications for a level 2: 2 Years with Bachelors in STEM; or 0 Years with Masters. Experience to include i. e. construction, or facilities. Basic Qualifications for a level 3: 5 Years with Bachelors in STEM; or  3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. Experience to include i. e. construction, or facilities. Preferred Qualifications: AutoCAD or other related software. MS Project or other project management software. Space planning experience. Additional software experience with Sharepoint, Confluence and Maintenance Connection. Ability and experience advising on building interior finishes, furniture and equipment. Experience inventorying and tracking furniture storage and disposition. Knowledge of International building codes. Experience with waste recycling protocols.
