Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services (ES) has an immediate need for a Director, Programs leading the ES team supporting the Mission Systems (MS) Navigation, Targeting, and Survivability (NT&S) division. The candidate will be responsible and accountable for ES service delivery, strategic demand planning, governance and compliance for the MS NT&S division, with additional responsibilities to lead Enterprise Services Ops. and Integration functions across the sector . The position will be located in Rolling Meadows, IL.

The Enterprise Services Program Director (ESPD) will report to the Mission Systems Vice President of Enterprise Services, Infrastructure Ops. and CIO with a strong matrix alignment to MS VP General Manager for the NT&S division and respective staff. The candidate will hold bottom line responsibility for the planning and delivery of all Enterprise Services and IT infrastructure, services and initiatives for the NT&S multi campus division, and broader Ops. and Integration responsibility for all MS sites.

Basic responsibilities include:
Direct and lead all Enterprise Services and IT initiatives for area of responsibility – provide regular leadership and direction to direct reports and large cross functional matrix teams. Focus on strategic planning and the cost and scheduled focused delivery of all Enterprise Service and IT initiatives.

Lead the ES team supporting Mission Systems NT&S and sector wide Operations and Integration using Agile principles.

Establish and drive the Division, Enterprise Services, and Information Technology (IT) strategy and direction, in coordination with the enterprise, focusing on Digital Transformation, Cloud, Converged Networks, etc.

Lead and leverage all ES services while meeting all legal, ethical, and financial commitments.

Alignment of Enterprise Services with sector strategies and business needs, and determining opportunities for shared solutions across the sector.

Alignment of Enterprise Services organization, services, service levels, technology, and business process re-engineering initiatives with Sector and Division strategies, business needs, and affordability while providing high-value ES services at the lowest possible cost.

Supporting the development of common processes and systems within ES, consistent with the company, by assisting in the development of enterprise architecture, which focuses on the commonality of business processes using process improvement methodologies with state of the art business systems and management processes.

Identification of opportunities to improve systems integration and commonality across the Sector through Division best practices to reduce redundancy and costs and increase productivity and cost competitiveness.

Participate as an active team staff member in key Divisional recurring operations to include NCTA planning and review, Business Capture Gate reviews, Business Unit Activity sessions, ICE/NAR & FRRR reviews, Division strategy and AOP/LRSP processes as required.

Support sector activities with the Sector and Corporate Office in C-101, Business Capture Gates special activities as required.

Participate as a business partner in the development of Sector and Division strategic and tactical plans. Assist in the development of Enterprise Services strategy and segment plans for the Sector/Division. Team with Division business partners, specifically Capture and Business Unit Directors to identify/promote enabled new business opportunities and process improvements which result in cost reductions and/or enhanced service levels.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10+ years of experience planning and leading enterprise service delivery and IT infrastructure initiatives
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required
• Experienced program manager or equivalent with at least 5 years leading diverse functional or program teams driving outcomes and achieving results including leading with Agile and / or SAFe methodologies
• Must be flexible and demonstrate strong judgment/decision-making skills, and business acumen
• A strong commitment and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment is paramount
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills, as well as program management, analytical, planning, presentation and human relations’ skills are required
• Demonstrated leadership and management at the enterprise level
• 25% travel is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

TS/SCI clearance a plus!
