Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Management Analyst who specializes in Business System Compliance to work in one of the following locations depending on experience level.

This position will require to report to worksite located in Roy, UT (preferred), Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO due to program requirements. Flexibility may be available as needed but will require onsite presence, position does not permit for remote opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with DCAA, DCMA, and Sector Regulatory Compliance for Strategic Deterrent Systems Division as needed

  • Assist in the preparation of the Payload and Ground Division and Segment annual Incurred Cost Submission proposals.

  • Focal point for DCAA audits such as MAAR6 and 13 audits.

  • Owning Government RFI Request log and performing functions such as: receiving, logging in, coordinating, preparing and responding to the RFIs.

  • Coordinating with internal customers for audit responses.

  • Support Business System Compliance and facilitating annual self-assessment to determine areas requiring attention.

  • Supporting DFAR business systems inquiries as appropriate and reviewing Corrective Action Request (CARs) responses to the government.

  • Labor time keeping and reporting data analytics.

  • Identify and provide training and guidance to Finance staff, and other Northrop Grumman personnel on Government Compliance topics to ensure employee awareness and compliance.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This role may be filled as either a Business or Principal Business Management Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related professional experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management function - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of related professional experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management function

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:  

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of related professional experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management function - OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of related professional experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management function

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with DCAA auditors and understanding of the Defense Contract Audit Manual (DCAM).

  • Knowledge of U.S. Government regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), TINA and FAR.

  • SAP and OLAP report writer tool proficiency.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience advocating for company positions on interpretations of regulations.

  • Professional experience in a regulated industry such as Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, or Telecommunications.


Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
