Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Risk Management Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program

What You’ll Get To Do:

What you will get to do, specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

Acting as an IPT Risk Manager, oversee and manage the operational aspects of Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Management. Integrate with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to help Identify RIO items within their Statement of Work (SOW) responsibility, including any potential Intercompany Work Orders (IWOs) and Suppliers.  Act as a liaison to ensure high quality inputs and adherence to relative program toolsets and processes. Support the IPT in all levels of RIO Boards including Program Management and Customer Reviews. Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for managing and monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, IPTs, and functional management

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. 

Job Qualifications:

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years of experience (8 with Masters) in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or Leading Teams, additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 5 years.

US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)

Experience supporting DOD Programs

Experience presenting to upper level management

Proficient on MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Must have a current DOD secret with the ability to obtain a SAP clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Experienced in Risk Management Processes and Toolsets

PMP Certification

Background in Leading teams

Currently GBSD Accessed

Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last 6 years

Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
