Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Program Planning & Scheduling EVMS Analyst 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Roy UT and support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. 

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyzing Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to make sure all program objectives are met

  • Ensuring major project and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated

  • Reviewing program schedules to ensure best practices as prescribed by industry are implemented, which includes:

    • DCMA 14-Point Assessment

    • Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

    • Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)

    • Critical Path Analysis

    • Schedule Performance, Health Metrics and Analysis

  • Performing schedule risk assessments to identify program cost and scheduling risks

  • Utilizing Gantt, milestone charts, Earned Value Management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances

  • Conducting and Supporting internal EVMS Surveillance Reviews to ensure compliance to the 32 guidelines

  • Providing EVMS training activities for project personnel

  • Mentoring program cost and schedule analysts on the proper implementation and use of Earned Value

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This position can be filled at the level 3 or 4 based on the qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications (Level 3)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 5+ years of related experience in program/project planning and scheduling- OR - a Master's degree from an accredited university with 3+ years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Strong EVMS experience and Schedule Management skills.

  • Experience with scheduling software: Oracle Primavera P6 or MS Project

  • Experience with deployment of business system tools and processes in an EIA-748 compliant Earned Value Management environment

  • Experience with DCMA data-driven surveillance metrics and associated tools and processes

  • Strong analytical ability

  • Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance.  US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 9+ years of related experience in program/project planning and scheduling- OR - a Master's degree from an accredited university with 7+ years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience with scheduling software: Oracle Primavera P6 or MS Project

  • Experience with deployment of business system tools and processes in an EIA-748 compliant Earned Value Management environment

  • Experience with DCMA data-driven surveillance metrics and associated tools and processes

  • Strong analytical ability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years).  US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

  • 4+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.

  • Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 and Schedule Risk Assessment software tools.

  • Experience with Resource Loading and Analyzing Schedules.

  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).

  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience.

Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
