Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Test Data Analysis Lead Engineer.  This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel – Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do: 

The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers. 

The Data Analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. 

Experience working with data generated from automated SW test Systems.

Responsibilities include:

•Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

•Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

•Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

•Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

•Work with management to prioritize test data analysis and use for design improvements

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• 14 Years with Bachelors; 12 Years with Masters, 9 with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  
• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) years with the ability to gain/maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
• Proven working experience as a data analyst or Test instrumentation data analyst 

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
 • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc…) 

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

- Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph within the last 5

- US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)

- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

- Experience in ICBMs or Aerospace programs
- Experience with NX and Teamcenter
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
- Practical experience using MBSE tools such as CAMEO

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Salary Range: $122,500 USD - $183,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
