Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Infrastructure Program Manager 3 for to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

The selected individual will possess a proven track record of multi-discipline team development, product delivery and project management. The GBSD (Sentinel) program is a series of complex aerospace / construction initiatives with challenging, interesting series of projects.

Experience would include:

  • Managing complex and mission critical programs through all stages of design, development, implementation and checkout.
  • Success in inspiring trust within team members and motivated team to meet or exceed established objectives.
  • Develop effective teams from requisition, staffing and training through scope execution.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and 8 years of experience, MS Degree and 6 years.
  • 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Ability to obtain an active Secret clearance
  • 3 years of industry experience with aerospace Infrastructure OR missile systems projects
  • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 of years of experience with projects with technically complex structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls systems.
  • 5+ years of experience understanding and interpret technically complex contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule. Including interface between real property and weapon system elements.
  • 5+ years of experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Earned Value (EVMS) environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of the federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and their application to design and construction.
  • Demonstrated experience with Primavera P6, Timberline, Revit, and other industry standard project management applications.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at the executive level. Must have advanced presentation skills.
  • Skilled at negotiating and developing relationships with customers and subcontractors.

Salary Range: $147,700 USD - $221,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
