This motivated individual will serve as the Manager for the ES Sentinel Project Management team within the ESPM organization.  The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management team, internal leadership, and external stakeholders and leadership.  Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop customer relationships and cultivate customer intimacy
• Leading and directing a cross-functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical objectives
• Assisting program leadership in assessing, documenting and tracking of all new program requirements
• Preparation of project execution plans and identification of appropriate technical and business resources required
• Development and delivery of presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders
• Creation, review and finalization of the project Statement of Work
• Manage and track status of projects, metrics, financial budgets, and EACs; manage schedules and prepare status reports; and ensure project remediation and ongoing compliance goals are met

The location for this position is in Roy, Utah. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of project management experience or 3+ years’ experience with Master’s degree, 0 years with PhD.

Minimum 3 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Must be able to work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing direction

Excellent at written and oral communications

Strong ability to establish, develop, and maintain interpersonal relationships

Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Current or ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance

Solid technical foundation in IT systems

Experience with large scale, complex, hardware and software systems

Knowledge of/experience with Agile development

Proficient in Microsoft Project, IMS management and or Agile applications

Knowledge of/experience with cyber security requirements and processes

Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering briefings to senior leadership

Must have experience in planning, organizing, staffing, reporting, identifying / managing risk, and supporting multiple program phases

Salary Range: $102,500 USD - $153,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
