Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Test Engineering Manager for our Command & Launch Test Tools and Analysis team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

The Command & Launch Test Automation & Analysis Lead position reports directly to the Test Planning & Execution Lead and will lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers. The selected candidate must have data analysis skills, scientific programming, tool development/maintenance, and data management experience, a technical understanding of system of systems architecture, and an understanding of good software practices and familiarity with Matlab, C++, Python, Perl, shell scripting, and Java.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 Years with Masters
• Possess active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level, plus ability to obtain and maintain an SSBI clearance with an adjudication date within the last 6 years
• Demonstrated understanding of test management/planning and project management

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to collaborate across cross functional teams
• Solid technical and team leadership characteristics
• Demonstrated ability to lead large and diverse teams, drive a culture of performance and inclusion, foster development and enable collaboration across engineering and operational disciplines
• Proficient in MS Office Products – Powerpoint, Word, Visio, Excel
• Matlab, C++, Python, Perl, shell scripting, and Java
• Experience with Model Based Engineering
• Experience with CAMEO and digital engineering environments.
• Experience with Agile
• Experience with Automated Testing
• Experience with testing system of systems
• Active TS
