This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.


This position will support all ES efforts for the GBSD Program within the Sector Support Business CoE organization.

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develops and maintains Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) based networks for software development and training systems
- Maintains software development and DevSecOps environments using Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Identifies and applies cybersecurity controls, industry best practices, security control software, and scanning suites
- Collaborates with Cyber, Systems, and Software Engineers to ensure network requirements are met
- Performs network analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair
- Performs system administration of IT assets, user accounts, network architecture

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4  Basic Qualifications for level 3:

- Strong Communications Skills, both verbal and written; and ability to read and understand technical requirements documents
- Identifying and implementing cybersecurity controls
- Understanding of network architecture
- Applying critical skills thinking when solving complex problems
- US citizenship: must be able to obtain a clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience or Masters and 3 years or related experience
Basic Qualifications for level 4:

- Strong Communications Skills, both verbal and written; and ability to read and understand technical requirements documents
- Identifying and implementing cybersecurity controls
- Understanding of network architecture
- Applying critical skills thinking when solving complex problems
- US citizenship: must be able to obtain a clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of related experience or Masters and 7 years or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience architecting and developing Network Operations Centers (NOCs) and/or Security Operations Centers (SOCs)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or similar accreditation; Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) Security, or similar accreditation
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DevSecOps system
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining LANs and WANs
- Has a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, or similar accreditation; with knowledge of network security guidelines (i.e. NIST, etc.)
