Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals. This candidate will join Northrop Grumman’s Space System team supporting the Air Force’s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.  Learn more about the GBSD program here. What You’ll Get To Do: This will include development, production and deployment of Launch Equipment hardware and systems for each weapon system facility. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Research, plan, design, analyze and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
  • •Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems
  • Preparation and presentation of reports, briefings, design documents (drawings and specifications) and interface with customers.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. UTSpace

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, math) and 2 years experience, or 0 years with Master’s Degree in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
  • Experience designing and analyzing analog and power circuitry, including switches and control relays
  • Experience creating electrical schematics and physical layouts
  • Experience developing and performing verification plans, test procedures and verification metrics
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Subcontractor Management
  • Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Tools
  • Experience preparing for and participating in design reviews
