Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GBSD Systems Test Staff Engineer- Physical Security Systems. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for:
- Synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
- Developing and coordinating test planning activities, supporting test execution, and managing task schedules.
- Reviewing and evaluating test requirements to insure completeness of test program and adherence to program policies and objectives.
- Performing technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or relevant STEM discipline with 9 years of engineering experience; 7 years with a Master's of Science degree in Engineering or another STEM discipline; 4 years with a PhD- Demonstrated experience creating test plans and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in test execution and troubleshooting efforts
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Access Control Systems
- Experience with Physical Security Sensor Systems
- Knowledgeable and/or experience operating in Protection Layers (PL) 1N - 3 environments
- US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret Clearance (awarded within the past 6 years)
 Travel is expected up to 25% of the time
