Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be for the Manager of the Logistics Program Management team, as part of the Product Support Team for the GBSD Program.
The selected candidate will be a representative for the diverse range of product support disciplines to external IPTs and is expected to manage the Product Support network, facilitate collaboration amongst the LPM team, and integrate across a wide variety of design and development efforts. What You’ll Get To Do:

-Be responsible for schedule and performance of Logistics Program Management team
-Lead/support the development of teams in the investigation of issues and ensure all product support aspects are addressed
- Represent product support in a variety of engineering meetings, identify product support equities and coordinate appropriate detail subject matter expert involvement to ensure resolution
-Knowledge and experience in logistics elements such as reliability, maintainability, training, technical data, provisioning, supply support and repair.
-Knowledge of project management and cost, schedule and performance elements for DoD weapon systems
-Able to collaborative both internally and externally in support of program
-Lead and participate in trade studies, track issues to completion and brief customer and senior leadership as required. Excellent interpersonal skills.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, integration, or industrial engineering or equivalent work experience.  - 5 years experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- An active Secret DOD security Clearance granted/renewed within the past 5 years is required

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Master's degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management
- Logistics engineering experience
