Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronic Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's manufacturing test team. This position supports circuit card production testing and O&R testing on multiple product lines at our Salt Lake facility.


• Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Applications may include analog, digital, RF, and/or video type circuits and logic systems.

• Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on electronic systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications.

• Adheres to safety measures, quality directives, cost considerations and schedule commitments.

• Utilizes SAP MRP system for time recording, product tracking, work completion and scheduling.

• Troubleshoots medium to complex test circuit cards to diagnose failures while using various measuring and testing devices and equipment.

• Monitors tests, reviews data, and records results.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of additional education and/or related experience.

• 2 years of manufacturing or electronics experience

• Prior experience reading and understanding schematics

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow standard test procedures

• Must be able to lift items over 40lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or a technical diploma in Electronics or a related discipline • Knowledge of types and uses of test equipment such as; oscilloscopes, Voltage/Ohm Meter (VOM), Digital Voltage Meter (DVM), and signal generators. • Prior experience diagnosing cause of failure to component level


Salary Range: $43,200 USD - $72,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
