Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 2. This position will report directly to the Manager of Business Management for the Network Solutions Business Unit, with dotted line reporting to the Director of Counter Communications Operating Unit. The Business Management Manager will be responsible for all of the Business Management functions and deliverables for the operating unit.

This position is located onsite in San Diego, CA. Hybrid schedule considered at the discretion of the manager.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Work directly with the OU Director and their staff on strategic pursuits, business mgmt process controls (EVM and EACs), and performance management. The Business Manager will lead a small team coordinating across a functional matrix and monitoring related financial health measures.

Preparation of and support for:

  • Internal/external financial reports
  • LRSP/AOP, Forecasts, Variance Analysis, Opportunity & Risk Management
  • EVM and Estimates at Completion
  • Gov't Proposals
  • Internal and external audits
  • Process improvements

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all NG policies, internal controls, and disclosed practices, as well as all applicable external regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 9 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control - OR -  a Master’s degree with 7 years of experience.
  • Understanding of government Cost Accounting Standards and the FAR.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and organizations skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field of study.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience with SAP, Cobra, COGNOS.

Salary Range: $122,200 USD - $183,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
