This position will be in the Pathways rotational program where there will be three rotation opportunities within engineering.

Northrop Grumman is seeking Pathways and Associate Pathways Electrical Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in San Diego, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Networked Information Solutions Division.  The selected candidate will work in an environment that develops the next generation of solutions. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other developers.  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Research, plan, design and develop electrical components, equipment, systems and networks 

• Apply research to planning, design, development, and testing of systems 

• Problem solving

• Develop or recommend solutions to technical problems    

• Designs electrical products and systems  

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering  
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70 out of 4.0 or higher
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
• Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects. 
• Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle projects from project inception through launch.  
• Knowledge of HFSS, NEC or FEKO
• Programming skills
