Responsibilities are in more than one of the following facilities areas: facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing or real estate coordination. Works closely with and/or provides advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities. Candidate's essential functions include:

  • Executes and manages Facilities projects that support both sustaining infrastructure and program facilitation requirements.
  • Plans, designs, coordinates, and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities, acting as Facilities Project Manager for medium to large sized projects.
  • Gathers, reviews, and reports data concerning facility and equipment specifications, existing conditions, company or customer security requirements, required completion dates, and construction feasibility.
  • Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms, as well as company IT and Security departments, in developing design criteria and performing design reviews of layout and detailed construction drawings.
  • Works closely with Global Supply Chain to prepare statements of work, bid sheets and bid process management, technical evaluations, and purchase order submittal documents.
  • Reviews, tracks, and estimates design and construction costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs, both before project begins and during all phases of construction.
  • Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinates collaboration between contractors, AE firms, and other NGC entities regarding employee impacts, access, and in order to resolve questions or discrepancies that arise during construction.
  • Manages and executes multiple Facilities projects simultaneously in various stages and provides regular updates to leadership regarding project progress.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in STEM, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with 6 years of experience in similar role. Or Masters Degree in STEM/field above with 4 years of experience in similar role.
  • Knowledge of Facilities, building design/construction, and project management.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with developing project statements of work and coordinating with stakeholders, AE firms, and contractors
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an SSBI clearance
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ICD-705 construction
  • Current SSBI clearance
  • Knowledge of construction management and experience developing and managing project and annual budgets
  • Knowledge of building, electrical, mechanical, and fire codes
  • Experience creating and updating project schedules with MS Project
  • LEED certification

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
