The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) NIS San Diego Procurement Team is seeking an analytical, innovative and strategic individual to lead business strategies driving efficiencies and best practices in San Diego. This position can be worked out of the San Diego facility or virtual.

Overall, the selected individual will contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards where effects of decisions are long-lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization. He or She will be considered an expert in field within the organization, demonstrating the skill and ability to perform complex tasks which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation without appreciable direction. This individual will ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings and serves as a spokesperson and advisor for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

BS/BA degree with 3+ years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, data analytics or a related business facing role or a Master’s degree with 1+ years of the same experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in price analysis techniques as the FAR and DFAR
  • Experience with SAP and/or ERP/MRP software, Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated success with data analysis and process improvement.


Salary Range: $61,400 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
