Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Product Support Manager to join our team. This position is located in Rancho Bernardo, CA within the Global Surveillance Division. The selected candidate will lead the Technical Publications development team responsible for all technical manuals on new development and upgrade programs of our Autonomous Systems business division. This position will lead a combination of domestic and international programs.

Essential Functions:

- Act as primary interface between the division’s programs, customers, and Logistics elements on all matters related to Technical Publications development

- Responsible for cost, schedule and management of publications contracts

- Responsible for strategic business forecasting

- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

- Responsible for planning and budgeting of technical publications programs

- Responsible for providing direction and guidance to functional staff in the Technical Publications organization

- Responsible for delivering first-time quality products to our customers via a comprehensive quality program

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 9 years logistics engineering and/or technical publications related experience; OR a Master's Degree with 7 years logistics engineering and/or technical publications related experience
  • Prior leadership (management or lead role) and Program/project management experience and/or Logistics
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with current Global Surveillance Division programs
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-1388-2B and GEIA-STD-0007 guidelines
  • Master’s Degree
  • Military aviation experience
  • EVMS/CAM Experience
  • Familiarity with USAF Instructions related to aircraft Technical Orders
  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

Salary Range: $118,600 USD - $178,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
