Our employees are not only part of history, they’re making history. The Space Components Division is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team.  This position could be located in San Diego, CA. Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit.
• Compiles, reviews and analyzes data.
• Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
• May design processes to enhance work flow.
• Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures. 
• Organize, scan, copy and file documentation (both digital and hard copies)
• Maintain display board with Key Performance Indicators and other metrics
• Perform simple mechanical testing (ie: hardness)
• Submit purchase requisitions
• Assist in routing and ensuring timely approval on a broad variety of documents.
• Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education, and/or related experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Working knowledge of Access
• Read and understand basic math and science principals/notation and enter information into database
• Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent and conflicting assignments.
• Attention to detail
• Well organized

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated strong ability to multi-task in a challenging environment with competing priorities in a positive manner
• Technical or Science background / experience desired
