Our employees are not only part of history, they are making history.   Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented manager to integrate with our Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector as Deputy Triton Sustainment Program Manager. This position main objective is to strategically grow relationships with the Triton Program office as well as the acquisition and operational customers through quality of support, synergistic internal organizational alignment, and increased confidence in the NGDS team to provide greater opportunities within sustainment. A successful candidate will help to formulate and implement expansion of new business base through development and execution of strategy and planning process. Grow Q4 service offerings while improving the processes and efficiencies for supporting both international and domestic customers.  Leads and exercises operational control of growth from the core capture pursuits supporting achievement of operating unit AOP/LRSP objectives.  Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and employee engagement for all assigned programs.  Work to successfully capture, transition and execution for the ASOU Australia Triton sustainment program. Work as part of a cross sector capture team dealing with International Triton pursuits. Help develop and define strategic plans, capture strategies and partnerships with business development leads and capture managers. Develop and foster international relationships with potential customers as well as US Navy (USN) foreign military sales partners to further grow ASOU/ATAS/LM sustainment business. This position will be located in San Diego, CA   Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  
  • Adherence to all internal processes for Program Management.
  • Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from operations & maintenance and administrative areas.
  • Development and delivery of presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and execution of a variety of proposal and contract types (CPFF, FFP).
  • Proposal development / capture planning and strategy.
  • Creation, review and finalization of the program Statement of Work.
  • Negotiation and establishment of schedule milestones, payment, and other key contract terms and conditions.
  • Development of customer relationships and cultivation of customer intimacy.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result.
  • Ability to demonstrate success in leading and developing cross functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management and individual contributors.
  • Strong communication, team building and facilitation skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team, upper management and customers
  • Demonstrate understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
 

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with minimum of 10 years of program/project experience and 5 years of leadership experience or 15 year of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to be granted a TS as well as granted and maintain special program access
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Triton or Global Hawk Program Experience with prior Logistics or Sustainment Program Management and/or Operations and Maintenance
  • Experience of with complex anomaly resolution, internal and external coordination and collaboration
  • New business development/capture and/or proposal development experience
