Northrop Grumman is looking for a COMSEC Specialist who will assist in the management of all procurement, fielding, and sustainment of Crypto/Keying material and devices. This individual will assist in the tracking, control and inventory requirements of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and company owned equipment. Occasional travel to other Northrop Grumman facilities.  The COMSEC responsibilities will include: ensuring maximum COMSEC safeguards are in place, managing proper accountability, handling, storage, packaging, shipment, and administration of all cryptographic materials. Will perform installation, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of COMSEC equipment, as required, hands on experience of setting IP addresses, routes, rules and templates in CCI Devices and software upgrades, system equipment certifications. Other duties will involve the ordering and transfer of cryptographic keys, loading keying material to KGs, KIVs, OMNI’s, SECTERA Wireline Terminals, Vipers, and numerous GPS units.  Will interface with the help desk, and communicate with vendors. Will assist in the ongoing development, presentation and accurate record keeping of COMSEC security awareness training for all COMSEC users. Will assist with the transition from EKMS to KMI and fulfill KMI related duties once KMI is operational. MSSEC 1NGSPACESNYVLCA 

Basic Qualifications:       6 years with Bachelors; or 4 years with Masters; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for Bachelors' degree; Experience to include COMSEC.Current Active Top Secret Clearance. Ability to support multiple sites in San Diego located in  Rancho Carmel and Spectrum Center. Must be familiar with NSA/CSS policy manual 3-16, control of communications security (COMSEC) manual.  Must have recent experience, within the last 3 years of the following:
Tracking all COMSEC inventory using the Key management infrastructure (KMI) system.
System administrator for the KMI Management Client (MGC)
Receiving, generating and distributing electronic keying materials.  Knowledgeable of legacy Electronic Key Management System/Local management device/key processor (EKMS/LMD/KP)  Be able to work independently without supervision.  Must be able to assist in shipping cryptographic products up to 50 pounds in weight.  Must be committed to adopting and adhering to best practices including compliance with maintenance windows and change control procedures.  Must possess strong analytic abilities and be meticulous and careful in their work.  Must have CompTIA Security + certification  Preferred Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with configuration for HAIPE in-line network encryptors e.g. KG 175D, KG 250X.  Basic network, system administration and/or information assurance proficiency, to include experience with Windows, switches and firewalls.   
6 years COMSEC experience.
