Northrop Grumman Aeronautic System's subsidiary, Sonoma Photonics, Inc. has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Santa Rosa, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for managing maintenance and facilities activities for buildings, infrastructure, plant equipment, and the systems necessary to support successful facility operations. Provides leadership for preventive and corrective maintenance activities, equipment engineering and reliability, housekeeping, landscaping, safety, and compliance. Works closely with vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications and supervises employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair facilities and equipment.  This individual will supervise a staff of 7-10 employees who design, install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and will coordinate with manufacturing personnel, engineering and management to ensure that manufacturing equipment and facilities are maintained in ready status.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years of relevant management experience in a fast-paced environment OR 10 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Broad knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations, including the ability to review, understand and interpret regulatory standards

  • Ability to work multiple shifts as needed

  • Ability to communication effectively with senior leadership

  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with thin film optical coating and testing equipment


Salary Range: $107,800 USD - $161,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
