Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Principal Project Management – CTB Asst Liaison to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Overview:

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communication Test Lab is a very fast paced and dynamic environment to meet multiple customer needs and timelines. This position will report to the CTB Liaison and will work closely for the daily taskings and assignments. This role will be supporting a positive working relationship across the program with customers, other contractors, NT, and CTB Liaison to ensure the CTB is best positioned to be successful for various organizations. The role is based on being a liaison between NT (for development, integration, and test), CLAW (actual implementers of changes in the CTB and associated infrastructure), and multiple government POCs (test leads, development leads, and CTB owner).

Essential Functions:

  • In this role, you will act as a middle person between CLAW and NT for anything that interacts with the CTB to resolve issues, improve communications, and ensure that the relationship both ways is as beneficial as possible.
  • There are also opportunities to support other areas of the program through these interactions and the observations seen in them.
  • The position will include daily tasks to communicate status across program as well as driving daily interaction between the multiple groups in support of troubleshooting efforts, clarifications on lab needs, and building a bridge between Hwy 83, Huntsville and the CTB. Efforts supported will also include upcoming procurement efforts, working closely with Ops and Sustainment, and EOS/EOL.
  • Much of this role is supported through the development of solid working relations and trust with all sides to be supportive and honest about status of problems, challenges, and providing feedback to the program.

Basic Qualifications:

If applicable, please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume.

  • An active Secret clearance is required.
  • 5 Years with Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 9 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including interactions with peers, program leadership, other contractors, and government customers
  • Strong project or program management or technical lead experience
  • Energized self-starter with outstanding organizational and communications (written and verbal) skills
  • Facilitating meetings and cooperation among people and groups
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Developing and fostering relationships, getting people to understand others' points of views and being a central POC between various groups to ensure success are the drivers behind this role. Therefore, experience working across organizations and outside of own team is necessary for success, as is the ability to be flexible as demands can change frequently and strong communication skills.
  • Having a desire to improve processes, communications, and interactions between groups is also critical.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • While a good working knowledge of C2BMC or Missile Defense systems, network, or cyber tools and compliance would be very beneficial, the emphasis area is about relationship development and collaboration across teams often through influence.

Salary Range: $76,200 USD - $114,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
