Peraton is currently seeking a Data Analyst to work in Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (JDPAC) within USTRANSCOM responsible for operational planning support. This position is located at Scott AFB, IL. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tool design, testing, and development expertise for MS&O capability development and implementation.
  • Assist with integration and transition of designated MS&O prototypes to support USTRANSCOM operational processes
  • Support data analysis to ensure all designated ongoing and future applications progress to meet USTRANSCOM objectives
  • Support USTRANSCOM RDT&E and other MS&O applications and prototypes produced in support of or being adapted for JDDE movement processes.
  • Write reports documenting data analysis, tool design and development, and test results within stated deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Management Science, or 7 years work experience
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (Interim clearance needed to start work)
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in heuristics based modeling
  • Demonstrated skills in solving problems and responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, mathematical and problem-solving skills
