Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly qualified, mission-oriented Subcontractor Management Team Lead to support the Q4 Enterprise programs. This specific position will primarily support communication subcontractors.  The successful candidate will assist in directing, overseeing and collaborating on all aspects of the programs associated with planning, implementation, contracting of change proposals, and execution of the program across Integrated Product Teams, functions and sectors.   The successful candidate will interact with the customer, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as the focal point for Q4 activities as well as, manage risks and opportunities to ensure timely execution on these efforts.

 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

      Collaborate with OEM engineering, to help keep alignment of sustainment and development activities

·         Plan, coordinate and manage subcontractor activities

      Development and adherence to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and coordination to ensure on time delivery of subcontractor SDRLS and contracted services.

·         Lead discussions, demonstrations, briefings for cross-domain activities across NGC Sectors and with customer communities.

      Coordination of Subcontractor Contract Change Board activities internally and with the customer, to include Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).

      Support proposal development / capture planning and strategy.

      Generate, review and finalize Supplier Statement of Works in coordination with prime SOWs/RFPs.

      Building subcontractor and customer relationships and intimacy.

 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university

·         2 years of Experience working with a subcontractor in at least an advisory role

·         9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD of combined experience in areas of engineering or related field

·         Demonstrated experience and knowledge of communication technology to include Ku/Ka Satcom, CDL, Link 16, UHF Satcom, ATC, Inmarsat, and related systems.

·         Current DoD Secret clearance

      Significant Global Hawk, NATO, Triton, or similar program experience.

      Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and work with team members to develop solutions.

      Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result.

      Ability to demonstrate success in leading and developing cross functional teams.

      Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management and individual contributors.

      Demonstrate understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process

·         Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint

·         Experience of with complex anomaly resolution, internal and external coordination and collaboration

·         Experience in Foreign Military sales highly desirable.

·         Willing and able to travel up to 25%


Salary Range: 98500 - 147700
Salary Range 2: 11400 - 171100

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
