Our Global Supply Chain team in our Tactical Space Division is currently recruiting for a Data Insight Analyst in our Sterling, VA location. As a Data Insight Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting data-driven decisions by delivering analytical insights and business-critical reporting to enhance the performance of Tactical Space System's (TSS) Global Supply Chain (GSC). You will perform as a data pioneer, developing, implementing, and automating GSC reporting solutions. You will do this by collaborating cross-functionally in an environment that values unique insights, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation. Through our best-in-class analytical practices, you will help us Define Possible, providing innovative reporting solutions and continuous process improvements while learning unique TSS systems, databases, and processes.
 
Job Responsibilities:
•    Systematically gather data by querying, validating, merging, and extracting data across various sources
•    Build key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis of the GSC
•    Prepare data for analytic efforts by creating visualizations, dashboards, and/or interactive reports
•    Develop and publish analytics, tools, and dashboards to various GSC intranet sites 
•    Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis to key stakeholders and various end users
•    Continuously monitor performance against GSC key performance indicators (KPIs) and understand root causes of changes in metrics
•    Produce ad-hoc queries/reports including information to support special initiatives
•    Partner with stakeholders in the design, planning, and implementation of GSC reporting solutions while ensuring consistency and coherency
•    Provide user training, support, and documentation for reporting solutions

Basic Qualifications: 
•    A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and at least 3 years of data analytics, supply chain, business or closely related experience; OR a master’s degree and at least 1 year of data analytics, supply chain, business or closely related experience; experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
•    Understanding of all aspects of Supply Chain Management - materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material cost budgets and supplier quality
•    Experience with Supply Chain KPIs and the key drivers of Supply Chain costs
•    Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as Senior Leadership
•    Relevant work experience in an analytical role developing reporting and dashboards for a variety of audiences 
•    Understanding of SAP or other ERP or MRP systems
•    Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as SQL, CostPoint, and Tableau
