The Marine Logistics Support team at Sunnyvale is seeking a Principal Contract Manufacturing Rep. to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. You will become part of Northrop Grumman's  Marine Logistics Support (MLS) team, which is comprised of high volume contracts supporting multiple customers, and is responsible for providing technical and business ownership of marine propulsion and power generation manufacturing for aftermarket programs

Primary: Responsible for managing the on time delivery of contract suppliers including relationship management. Provides contractors with the proper information to ensure that contractors meet quality standards. Acts as liaison between company plants and contractors. Responds to cost and feasibility requests and obtains vendor quotations. Emphasis on vendor expediting.

Secondary: Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience OR an equivalent of 10 years of experience without the Bachelor's. Will consider a business background with some supply chain and/or manufacturing experience. 
  • General MRP experience required.  SAP experience highly desired. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel
  • Capable of managing high volume with quick turn around
  • Supply chain with knowledge of purchasing processes desired.
  • Capable of managing high volume with quick turn around

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience.


Salary Range: 92000 - 125000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
