Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is actively seeking an experienced Cyber Info Assurance Analyst to fill a role that requires a broad array of knowledge and skills working with team members to support a Cyber Security program based in Tampa, FL.

We're looking for a highly motivated individual with an impeccable work ethic and a strong ability to work in a collaborative fast-moving dynamic team environment.  The primary team is located in Tampa, Florida with distributed team members embedded directly with the customer.

In this position you may:

  • Assist with the implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, such as Certification and Accreditation items, including but not limited to, documenting and maintaining System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and Continuous Monitoring (CONMON).
  • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
  • Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits.
  • Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. 
  • Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.
  • Provide day-to-day support of all security aspects for a facility. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and administer policies and procedures in compliance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICDs) and NISPOM and will regularly interface with company leadership and customer security organizations.
  • Have experience with developing and coordinating program documentation to include SCIF Accreditations, Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), TEMPEST addendums, and co-use/co-utilization agreements.
  • Have the ability to support multiple security environments with diverse security requirements. This position will provide assistance with personnel security, COMSEC, Operations Security (OPSEC), security education, conducting security incident investigations, accreditation of secure areas at different levels, and performing access control and physical security responsibilities.

Individual must have a solid understanding of the Department of Defense accreditation process and be able to operate in those environments.

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Level or a Sr. Principal Level.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Cyber Info Assurance Analyst:

  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 with PhD / NOTE: Four (4) years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
  • US Citizenship is required with an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance which was active in the last 24 months
  • Must possess or be able to obtain DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher within two (2) months of starting

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Cyber Info Assurance Analyst:

  • 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 with PhD / NOTE: Four (4) years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
  • US Citizenship is required with an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance which was active in the last 24 months
  • Must possess or be able to obtain DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher within two (2) months of starting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level III
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ICDs and NISPOM requirements for protecting classified information; the ability to develop compliant procedures for program execution.
  • Functional experience working with military service-level Security Control Assessors (SCA) and Designated Approval Authorities (DAA)
  • Recent military experience or familiarity with DOD
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Host Based Security System (HBSS), and other enterprise security defense and forensic tools
  • Familiar with Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Visit Requests (VR), Facility Alarm systems, Card Access Control systems
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and applications
  • Attention to detail and success working individually or as part of a team requiring little supervision
  • When required, have the ability to work outside of normal working hours and weekends as needed to support the customer’s needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment



Salary Range: $79,420 USD - $100,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $98,496 USD - $130,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
