Northrop Grumman Defense Systems F-35 Sustainment HPSI Operating Unit, wants YOU to join our Team as a Aircraft Maintenance Administrator and join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. As a Logistics Management Analyst, you will be assigned to support F-35 Organizational-Level maintenance on MCAS Miramar, CA.
Logistics Management Analyst maintain aircraft logs and records and optimized organizational/intermediate maintenance automated log sets. They receive or compile items for receipt or transfer of aircraft, including relocation of aircraft to or from a D-level facility for
standard rework. They report flight loads, launch, and landing data and make required logbook entries. They screen technical directives for applicability to assigned aircraft and related equipment. They obtain the naval aircraft flight record flight information to maintain applicable logbook and records. They will initiate, maintain, closeout, reinitiate, and dispose of logbook/
records. They maintain local records on items that have a service life and monitor accumulations of forced removal items. They prepare reports and correspondence within aircraft maintenance and repair activities. They are responsible for trend interpretation in support of aviation information and
readiness reporting requirements to aid maintenance supervisors and logisticians in the performance of their assigned tasks.
Additional functions include management of computer information systems, verification of database integrity, control of user access to designated activity servers, monitoring and ensuring system accuracy, supporting network system functions, accuracy of database tables. The Aviation Data Analyst is the acting authority for the integrity and validity of all aviation readiness reporting data.
Your duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Identify and ensure Aircraft components are applicable to specific aircraft using Logistics Control Number (LCN) bill of material (BOM), coordinate with ALIS (Autonomic Logistics Information System) team members to ensure EEL updates (Electronic Equipment Logs) and ALIS issues are resolved.
- Use your familiarity within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to build Work Orders for maintenance against the aircraft and track them via JCNs (Job Control Numbers) Write Action Requests (ARs) against ALIS/Parts/Aircraft for issues such as updating ALIS Database for new parts, resolving UNK serial numbers not properly tracked from manufacturing, or requesting further information on MDRs (Maintenance Deviation repairs).
- Use your knowledge with JTD (Joint-Service Technical Data) to build Work Orders and research part information based on Spec PN/VPN and Cage Code, track any weight and balance changes to the aircraft and ensure AWBS information is relayed to the owning unit.
- Track and Push PAIRS against an aircraft using MM_PAIRS, build solution sets and create Maintenance Actions using LCNS.
- Institute contingency processing during periods of planned and unplanned database system non-availability.
- Maintain aircraft logbooks, naval aircraft maintenance publications/files, and prepare reports, logs records, directives, and correspondence within aircraft maintenance and repair activities.
- Monitor information systems administration and conduct database management as well as trend interpretation for developing statistical process control methods in support of aviation information and readiness reporting requirements to aid maintenance supervisors and logisticians.
- Operate and maintain the NALCOMIS application for Marine Aviation Logistic Squadrons or Organizational Maintenance Activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of aircraft maintenance data administrative experience as either a data clerk, or in a maintenance/production data analyst facet.
- Completion of the Aviation Maintenance Administration Class Course (N336441) or NALCOMIS/ALIS application administrator/analyst experience performing data analysis and trend interpretation for developing statistical process control methods in support of DoD/Naval aviation information and readiness reporting requirements.
- Previous experience with managing multiple projects or responsibilities, with changes in schedules, working toward project or customer milestones, etc.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance or higher (US Citizenship required), ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance, as required.
- Must be willing to provide temporary support to our other CLS locations and/or emerging deployments.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
- Able to meet the physical demands of this position, including regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 Years F-18, AV-8B, F-22 or F-35 NALCOMIS/ALIS Application Administrator/ Analyst
- In-depth F-35 ALIS/CMMS experience
- IAT Level II certification
- Network Plus Certification Course
- Security Plus Certification Course
- NALCOMIS Aviation Maintenance OMA Database Administrator/Analyst Strand Course (N23WTL2)
- Completion of the ALIS Management and Supervision Course (C-555-2019)
- Understanding of how Supply Metrics (examples: MICAP Hours, GIE) contribute to Air Vehicle Metrics (examples: MC, FMC)
- SAP experience preferred
- Sec+ certification
- Experienced with power-BI or Comp TIA
Additional functions include use of office automation applications, graphic presentations design and delivery, maintain database integrity on assigned database management servers, collect and organize data, monitor and ensure accuracy of maintenance data, and support network systems administration functions for detachments and up line reporting.
